1. Who We Are
Visa-Me is operated by Visa-Me LLC, a publishing company that sells digital self-help guides about U.S. immigration processes. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of visa-me.net and any products or services you purchase from us.
Throughout these Terms, "we," "us," "our," and "Visa-Me" refer to Visa-Me LLC. "You" and "your" refer to you, the visitor or customer.
2. We Are Not a Law Firm
Visa-Me is not a law firm. We are a publisher of educational and self-help materials. Nothing we publish — on this website, in our guides, in emails, or anywhere else — is legal advice. We do not have attorney-client relationships with our readers or customers, and using our materials does not create one.
Specifically, we do not and cannot:
- Provide legal advice about your individual situation
- Represent you before USCIS, the Department of State, or any U.S. consulate or embassy
- Tell you which visa category is right for you
- Predict or guarantee the outcome of a visa application
- Fill out, submit, or sign government forms on your behalf
If your situation involves any complexity — prior visa denials, criminal history, immigration violations, removal or deportation proceedings, marriage fraud accusations, or anything else unusual — please consult a licensed U.S. immigration attorney.
3. The Self-Help Publishing Model
Our business model is the same one used by self-help legal publishers like Nolo Press for decades. We research the rules and procedures, write them in plain English, organize them into a useful order, and sell them as educational materials. You — the reader — are the one who makes decisions, gathers documents, and submits your application.
This model is legal under longstanding U.S. caselaw recognizing the right to publish self-help materials. We carefully avoid the line between general published information (allowed) and individualized legal advice (regulated and which we do not provide).
4. No Guarantees of Visa Outcomes
Approval of any U.S. visa is at the sole discretion of U.S. consular officers and other U.S. government agencies. No publisher, consultant, attorney, or other person can guarantee a visa will be approved. Anyone who claims otherwise is misleading you.
Our guides aim to help you submit a complete, accurate, well-organized application and prepare for your interview. This may significantly improve your chances. But improving chances is not the same as guaranteeing an outcome, and we make no such guarantee.
5. Our Products
What you get when you buy a guide
Each Visa-Me guide is a digital PDF document delivered by download immediately after purchase. When you buy a guide, you receive:
- Instant access to the current version of the PDF
- A personal, non-transferable license to use the guide for your own visa application
- Free lifetime updates — when fees, forms, or procedures change, we update the guide and provide the new version to you at no additional cost, for as long as we publish that guide
How updates work
When we release an update, we email it to the address you provided at purchase. Make sure to keep your email up to date and add us to your safe-sender list so updates don't go to spam. "Lifetime" refers to the active publication life of the guide — if we discontinue a guide, updates for it stop.
6. Refund Policy
All sales of digital guides are final. Because our guides are delivered instantly as digital downloads and cannot be "returned" once received, we do not offer refunds for change of mind, buyer's remorse, mistaken purchase of the wrong guide, or any other reason after the file has been delivered.
Limited exception: technical issues
If you experience a genuine technical problem — your download link doesn't work, the file is corrupted, or you cannot open the PDF on any device — contact support@visa-me.net within 7 days of purchase and we will resend the file or, if we cannot resolve the technical issue, provide a full refund.
Why "all sales final" protects you
Our all-sales-final policy is what allows us to sell a 30-page guide for $39 instead of the $300+ that competitors charge. Without this policy, we would face the same chargeback risks that force other publishers into much higher prices. The lifetime updates policy is your protection: rather than refunding you when rules change, we keep the guide current for you, free, indefinitely.
7. Permitted Use
When you buy a Visa-Me guide, you receive a personal, non-transferable license to use the guide for yourself or for a single immediate-family member's application (parent, spouse, sibling, or child).
You may:
- Read the guide on any device you own
- Print the guide for your own use
- Share the document templates within it with the U.S. agency reviewing your application, if applicable
You may not:
- Resell, redistribute, or share the guide with people outside your immediate family
- Upload the guide to file-sharing sites, torrent networks, public cloud folders, or social media
- Reproduce or republish substantial portions of the guide in your own materials, courses, or articles
- Use the guide in a commercial immigration services business (we offer separate licensing for that — contact us)
8. Intellectual Property
All content on visa-me.net and within our guides — text, layout, design, illustrations, code, and brand identity — is owned by Visa-Me LLC and protected by U.S. and international copyright and trademark law. The "Visa-Me" brand and logo are trademarks of Visa-Me LLC.
We acknowledge that visa categories (B-1, F-1, K-1, etc.), government form names (DS-160, I-130, etc.), and other technical references in our guides are properties of the U.S. government and are used here for descriptive and educational purposes.
9. Accuracy & Verification
We take significant care to make our guides accurate and current as of their last update date. However, U.S. immigration rules change frequently — sometimes overnight — and our guides may contain errors or be outdated between updates.
You agree to verify all critical information — current fees, forms, procedures, document requirements, and policies — against the official source before acting on it. Primary official sources include:
- travel.state.gov — U.S. visa information from the Department of State
- uscis.gov — U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services
- The website of the U.S. embassy or consulate where you will apply
10. Email & Communications
When you provide your email address — through our free-guide signup, a purchase, or any other form — you agree that we may send you:
- The free guide or paid product you requested
- Updates to guides you have purchased
- Important policy or fee change notifications relevant to U.S. visas
- Occasional promotional emails about new guides or services
You may unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time using the link at the bottom of any email. Transactional emails (purchase receipts, update notifications for guides you have already bought) will continue.
11. Privacy
Your privacy matters to us. Please see our Privacy Policy for full details on what data we collect and how we use it. In short: we collect only what we need, we never sell your data, and we use industry-standard security.
12. Disclaimers
Our guides are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Visa-Me LLC disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:
- Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
- Warranties that the content is error-free, complete, or up to date
- Warranties that following our guides will result in any specific outcome
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Visa-Me LLC, its owners, employees, or contractors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, loss of opportunity, denied visa applications, delayed travel, or any other damages — arising from your use of this website, our guides, or our services.
Our total liability to you for any claim related to a purchased product is limited to the amount you paid for that product.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Visa-Me LLC, its owners, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of our website or guides, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of any third party.
15. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, U.S.A., without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of Visa-Me will be resolved through binding arbitration in Texas, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property violations.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, if you have an active customer relationship with us, notify you by email. Your continued use of our site or services after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
